I hired Angie at Katalia's to do my hair for my wedding in November 2011.

I knew from my first consultation that I no longer had to worry about my hair (and makeup thanks to her daughter Katyia, @ Emerald Makeup) on the most important day of my life.
Angie was FANTASTIC, I had no idea what hairstyle I wanted but this was no problem for Angie who was brimming with ideas. She was creative and professional and could not do enough for me. Nothing was too much trouble, my first consultation lasted the best part of a day whilst I decided what hairstyle I wanted ! Angie remained enthusiastic throughout and was more than happy to experiment with the many different styles to find the perfect one for me, which I may add made me feel like a million dollars!! by the end of the day she felt more like a friend than a hair artist and the day had been full of fun and laughter. (Angie also gave me lots of advice of how to care and treat my hair with preparations to the big day. )
On the second consultation I met the mother daughter team together, what a lovely family! Again I was made to feel so comfortable and at ease with the perfect balance of professionalism and friendly humour.
The big day arrived and despite the very early start (6am!) Angie arrived as fresh faced and enthusiastic as ever, she immediately put me at ease and had a very calming effect which worked wonders easing my nerves! My hair was PERFECT! My guests and Groom all thought it looked stunning, our wedding was at 11.30am and our evening reception ended at 1am, I was on the dance floor all evening and did not have to worry once about how my hair looked as it stayed in all day and night!

"I booked Angie to do my hair for my wedding day after meeting her at a wedding fayre, she instantly put me at ease and when she explained the packages she provided I was really pleased. Angie allowed me to experiment with different styles and didn't mind how many times I changed my mind! Angie has an incredible skill for doing hair and was even able to get my moms very short hair into an 'up do' which she was very pleased with. Angie also managed to make my usually rebellious hair behave and my style stayed in all day and night. We got on really well and the hair trials were like a girly catch up and we would all end up in fit of giggles - I knew Angie and her daughter Kat would calm my wedding nerves on the day of my wedding, and they did. I got married on 18th December 2011 and hired Angie at Katalia's to do myself and my bridal party's hair, from the first trial I instantly clicked with Angie, she is so warm and welcoming and I honestly feel I have a new friend in her.
At my first trial she understood exactly what I wanted and got the perfect style first time. On the big day nothing was too much work for her, she heaved her tolleys up 2 flights of stairs at the venue, bless her!
